Projects

North Slope Project

Chiulista Camp Services (CCS) is in a contract with Nordic-Calista Services, Inc. to provide staffing for three sites located on the North Slope of Alaska. CCS currently provides a total of 18 catering personnel, including cooks and camp attendants, working in rotating shifts of three people per camp.

Donlin Creek

Donlin Creek is located approximately 240 miles west of Anchorage on land owned by Calista Corporation and The Kuskokwim Corporation. It is an advanced gold exploration project operated by Donlin Creek LLC, a joint venture with NovaGold Resources, Inc. and Barrick Gold Corporation.

CCS provides remote logistics and services that include: management, personnel services and catering, which are needed to keep the camp operational.

Nixon Fork

Nixon Fork, the result of a contract with Mystery Creek Resources, Inc., is a small project of 15 employees and is located outside of McGrath, Alaska. Currently, Chiulista Camp Services (CCS) is providing essential personnel, including cooks and camp attendants.

NorQuest Seafoods

Founded in Alaska in 1981, NorQuest Seafoods produces fresh, frozen and smoked seafood for both domestic and international customers. NorQuest owns five Alaska plants, two of which are floating processors. Currently, the company ships fresh Alaska seafood from the NorQuest plants in Ketchikan, Cordova, and Petersburg, Alaska.

Chiulista Services, Inc. (CSI) has one employee contracting with NorQuest at this time. Gabor Dudas, a Calista Corporation Shareholder, has been with CSI for over five years and works summers as the head cook for the NorQuest Seafood Processing Plant in Cordova.

Positions are scheduled by shifts of usually 2 weeks on with 2 weeks off, or 2 weeks on with 1 week off. While on shift, work is 7 days a week, 12 + hours a day. Culinary delights, housing and transportation from within the Calista region and Anchorage are provided.

Temporary Employment Services

Categories of Employees

Camp Administrative Assistant - Assists executive in staff capacity by coordinating office services, such as personnel, schedule preparation and control, records control and special assignments.

Camp Maintenance - This position is engaged in keeping building and grounds in clean and orderly condition and in maintaining and repairing utility systems and physical structures of buildings.

Camp Warehouse/Purchasing - Set up and maintain a parts warehouse for an advanced exploration project. Purchase raw material and unprocessed goods for processing; purchase machinery, equipment, tools, parts, and other supplies and services required.

Core Cutter/Handler - Prepare core to be shipped, by cutting and bagging.

Data Entry - Operated an alpha-numeric key entry machine and verifier in the accurate transcription of a variety of accounting, statistical and engineering data from a wide variety of source documents.

Equipment Operator - Operation of heavy equipment

Equipment Operator/Mechanic - Operation and repair of heavy equipment

General Laborer - Carry out non skilled tasks in and around a 50-150 man exploration camp. Assist maintenance and production personnel as necessary.

Geology Technician - Sort, survey, and log core samples developed from exploratory drilling program

Head Cook - This position prepares, produces and presents a variety of folds; completes necessary production sheets; directs and trains other food service personnel; and performs other associated food services activities as necessary.

Housekeeper - This position cleans and sanitizes and maintains the living quarters of the facility for the overall well-being of its clients and visitors. It also assists supervisors and co-workers in maintaining the facility in as livable and pleasant conditions as possible.

Light Equipment Operator - Repair and service light equipment in the shop and on the job site.

Safety Coordinator/EMT - Provides safety, medical and equipment training, a process to provide employees the knowledge necessary for a safer, more productive workforce.

Sample Preparer/technician - Performs routine sample preparation work on soil exploration samples Shop Foreman- Directs and assists in the day to day operation of the maintenance shop and equipment yard. Carries out and/or directs the repair and maintenance of equipment.
