Due to CSI's performance on the Gila Bend O&M contract, DESC set-aside the new Fuels Support contract to CSI.

CSI Awarded Set-Aside Fuels Support Contract

In October, 2009 CSI was awarded the five-year contract for Operation and Maintenance (O&M) of Gila Bend Air Force Auxiliary Field (GBAFAF) for the Department of the Air Force Air Education and Training Command.

This contract also includes fuels support and equipment maintenance for the more than 1.5-million-acre Barry M. Goldwater Range (BMGR). The Defense Energy Support Center (DESC) separated the Fuels Support contract from the Gila Bend O&M contract.

Due to CSI’s performance on the Gila Bend O&M contract, DESC set-aside the new Fuels Support contract to CSI.

 

CSI's Project Manager for the Gila Bend O&M contract has 25 years of relevant experience in fuels management and transportation.

Gila Bend is located 55 miles south of Luke Air Force Base in Southwest Arizona. CSI supports approximately 20,000 aircraft missions per year.
