Projects
Donlin Creek
Donlin Creek is located approximately 240 miles west of Anchorage on land owned by Calista Corporation and The Kuskokwim Corporation. It is an advanced gold exploration project operated by Donlin Creek LLC, a joint venture with NovaGold Resources, Inc. and Barrick Gold Corporation.
CCS provides remote logistics and services that include: management, personnel services and catering, which are needed to keep the camp operational.
NorQuest Seafoods
Founded in Alaska in 1981, NorQuest Seafoods produces fresh, frozen and smoked seafood for both domestic and international customers. NorQuest owns five Alaska plants, two of which are floating processors. Currently, the company ships fresh Alaska seafood from the NorQuest plants in Ketchikan, Cordova, and Petersburg, Alaska.
Chiulista Services, Inc. (CSI) had one employee contracting with NorQuest. Gabor Dudas, a Calista Corporation Shareholder, has been with CSI for over five years and worked summers as the head cook for the NorQuest Seafood Processing Plant in Cordova.
Mayflower Catering
Mayflower Catering has been serving the Anchorage community and surrounding areas for over twenty years. In May of 2004, Chiulista Services, Inc., a subsidiary of Calista Corporation, purchased Mayflower Catering intending for it to become Anchorage's premier fine catering company, and to add its professional expertise gained from already successful remote-site catering services throughout Alaska. We are proud to have served the events of many Anchorage's companies in the past and look forward to the next generation.
In August of 2004, Chiulista Services, Inc. was awarded its Small Business Administration certification as an 8(a) contractor. This offers up another level of service for Mayflower Catering--to provide our services to federal organizations, as well as military installations throughout Alaska, the United States, and the rest of the world.
Mayflower Catering provides our clients with complete event planning. We can arrange professional events such as company picnics and holiday parties, executive board meetings, staff lunches and the like. We also provide personal services for weddings, bar and bat mitzvahs, student events, sporting events, birthday and anniversary gatherings.
